A city in south western Ontario. It was going to be the capital of Canada until the war of 1812 made it unsafe. Even though the British (including Canada) burnt down the white house and kicked America's ass. We thought It'd be safer to use Ottawa as our capital. It is a fairly large city divided up fairly geometrically. You know your from London if you know what EoA is. It's a decent city with plenty of bars and a bit of a hobo problem. But hey? that's what makes it interesting.

Despite its high stress on academics and many awarded professors, it is known to be the party school of Canada, be home to one of David Letterman's top ten places to get knocked up, saugeen- maitland hall residence, and hold the most good looking students of all Canadian universities. With its award winning campus and ivy covered limestone walls it resembles an ivy league university complete with the reputation. Nicknamed the country club, its built on the site of a former golf and country club and retains this name due to its attracting of some of the richest students in Canada and internationally. Lacoste, Abercrombie, Polo, Lululemon, Hollister, Gucci, Ugg, are just some of the identifying signs of a student that attends UWO, also a sense of oblivion as to anything going on outside of the "Western bubble" and its gates is quite prevalent amongst its students. It could be confused for an American school with its abundance of Fraternities and Sororities. It is home to many sports teams (including a rowing team which beat out all ivy league schools and many other international schools), tennis courts complete with covered domes in the winter, the popular student hangout The Spoke, a restaurant/bar/club The Wave, and even a fine dining restaurant Michaels, the Ivey school of business, and a soon to be built recreation centre that will rival those of many of the biggest athletic schools in the US (even though it will most likely not better the football teams success). UWO - you love it (the parents that believe their children are truly earning the family company they are the heir to) or hate it (every other Canadian university).

Get the university of western ontario mug.hamilton ontario is a city of roughly 490,000 people in southern ontario, it is located at the western end of lake ontario, also known as "steel city" or "the hammer". it is home to two large steel mills which put sulfur in the lake water, when you drive past hamilton on the QEW highway the smell of rotten eggs is unavoidable (caused by sulfur) giving hamilton the knick name "stink town". the city of hamilton is divided in half by the niagara escarpment, the upper half above the escarpment is known localy as "the mountain" even though its not really a mountain. hamilton is home to canada's largest porn theater. the city is also infested with gangsta teenagers who refer to the city as H-Dot and also use the name steel city in an attempt to sound edgy and gain street cred, when usualy they're just an immigrant teenager from stoney creek who battle raps in broken english, the hip hop clubs are usualy prone to shootings, but they are easily avoidable. hamilton is also home to some extremely ugly hookers. most areas of the city are nice, even its less attractive areas have charm. over all hamilton is an average mid-sized north american city.

The people of Hamilton are among the friendliest and most down to earth in Ontario. Part of this has to do with the fact that the average income for Hamilton is low compared to other nearby cities in Ontario, and therefore it's citizens aren't snobbish like those upper middle-class Torontonians who drive their beamers ruthlessly. Hamilton is also a very diverse city, actually the third most diverse in Canada.
Most people who visit Hamilton from elsewhere in the GTA will want to gtfo as quickly as possible, but others will appreciate it's subtle sophistication and culture. Hamilton is a great city, but it takes a good person to appreciate it's awesomeness.

Western's student body is famous in Canada for being made up of a bunch of spoiled rich kids who have particularly poor academic abilities, though the university seems to labour under the delusion that it is somehow "Ivy League".
The typical Western student is a fabulously dumb blond boy or girl who says 'like' at least three times per sentence, and hangs out at one of the lame-ass bars on Richmond Street (especially The Ceeps or Jim Bob Ray's) every night getting wasted and breaking into fistfights over scarce cabs once the bars close. They also refuse to wear coats even when the weather is minus 40 degrees, because a coat would cover up their stuffed booby cleavage or obscure their tiny little gym pecs.
