(DAUD-er) a pen that ceases to function while it is being used for something of upmost importance, such as writing a term-paper that is due in twenty minutes. can also be used to describe a person who refuses to do anything when he/she is needed.

This paper is due in twenty minutes and this dodder is really pissing me off.

my brother is a mechanic but he can be such a dodder sometimes. last week my car broke down and he refused to help me fix it.

(pronounced doy-per) also spelt doyper

a person who continuously does 'doiperish' or stupid things, and says things that are stupid and obvious. you can change someone who is a doyper's name to fit. for example, james can be doymes, and charlie can be doylie.

"we will be in france for one week in july"
