Getting shafted out of something that you wanted, usually at work, because of some rule of "politeness" or "team spirit". From the movie "Office Space", when the ratio of people to cake was too big and Milton was told to keep passing it, so eventually everybody gets a piece except for him.

"I'm taking this office before anybody else does. I'm tired of always passing the cake"

An amazing friend who is a pleasure to be around. A very athletic person who mostly plays lacrosse. He is very intelligent and loves to read. A very shy and quiet person who is never really the leader. He's also very kind, loyal, and funny once you get to know him. He can have his stupid moments, but it is always worth it in the end. Passing Away

Unlike dying, which connotes a degree of violence and urgency, passing away is a situation where you slowly leave the world. It can be precipitated by lying on the floor beneath a cubicle desk. Passing away is a way to escape the madness that may occur around you.

-"What are you doing this weekend?"
-"Oh I'm passing away."

"This madness. I need to pass away."

-"Where are Jackie and Jen?"
-"They passed away at -100 o' clock."
