To be minied is to see what appears to be an empty car park space only to find on closer inspection there is a small car in it (like a mini) .
This is the annoying scenario when on a full car park you become excited as you see the end of a space with no car there. You smile, accelerate, turn your wheel only to see a mini or micra or smart car neatly parked taking up the half of the space you couldnt see hence the term "minied". This leads to Parking rage , swearing and stress .

open-minded

1. Ready to accept on firm evidence that one's most cherished beliefs may be hogwash, but bearing in mind that extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence.

2. Politically correct synonym for "gullible" used by New Age quacks who want to sell you a bill of goods.
I am open-minded about the existence of the Judeo-Christian God. If he appears in the immortal flesh in the heavens to me and a few billion other people and manifests his power openly in such a manner that it cannot possibly be a dream, illusion, hallucination or anything of the sort, I'll accept he is there. In the meantime, it is more befitting the heritage of the human intellect to ignore such figures as mythical.

Open-mindedness is a virtue, but when dealing with New Age salespeople it is important to remember that if you keep your mind too open, your brain may fall out.

Open Minded

Being open minded is being willing to give many different practices and opinions consideration.

However, this does NOT equate to tolerance. Tolerance implies being okay with people doing whatever they want. Open mindedness is only giving it consideration.

Unfortunately, many left-leaning people seem to think they're the same, and, as an insult, accuse more conservative people of being close-minded, which makes little sense.
I told her I was personally against gay marriage, because it violates natural law. So she said that I am not open minded, and called me a dirty racist conservative.

late-minded

Late-minded is a very rare word and is used not quite often. Some people consider it as new, yes it is. Some people consider it as not-really-a-word, but it is a word if you want it to be. It's very easy to understand what late-minded means, only the stupid wouldn't understand. And I bet you're trying to pretend not to be stupid right now, whatever. Let me tell you what it means:

So, late-minded means thinking or saying something that almost everyone has went through it already. An example could be like:
Question: What's that thing over there?
Answer: Your mom (When it's just a piece of shit)
And that's when a passer-by could say: Stop being so late-minded...

Another example could be, someone saying: Hey dude how's your coc going? (CoC/coc/COC: Short form of Clash of Clans)
Replier: Great! I got lv6 whizzies!
And then someone just says: Lol, 'coc'.
That's also an example of how to use the word late-minded. This example is when someone knows that coc (Say CoC) stands for Clash of Clans they have to make fun of it by strengthening the 'cock' word into CoC.

Feel free to share and use this new and existing word with your friends and good luck explaining it!
You don't always have to be late-minded... It's actually really lame.
