YAVIS

YAVIS is an acronym for Young Attractive Verbal Intelligent Successful. The term is commonly used in psychotherapy as it is assumed that these individuals are most likely to have successful experiences in therapy.

The opposite is referred to as a HOUND which is an acronym for Homely Old Unattractive Nonverbal and Dumb.

I showed up at the first group therapy and it was just as I expected -- everyone in the room was YAVIS.

A really awesome guy you could totally hang out with whenever. He loves his music, which also adds to his super awesome...ness. Yeah.
