Universalism aka “The Universal Truth” is the awareness that all things flow together. That all pursuits should be for the good of people to preserve the natural order of existence.
It does not support, nor reject the belief of god(s), but only if it is so, it is a part of The Universal Truth. In regards to religions, all would simply be different paths to the same destination. Universalism is seeing that all humanity and life is connected through a cosmic tapestry of existence for the purpose to exist in harmony with nature.
Universalism tends to favor anything that exists naturally, for example, reincarnation is favorable but not an absolute, because life is born, lives, dies but to only be reborn the next spring as flowers bloom. This pattern can be seen in stars as well. Much so is true with the Universe is true for us on some level. Universalism tends to favor spiritual life as an awareness that can be reborn and the illusion is that only the brain is creating consciousness.
Universalism can be a philosophical truth to atheists as well as religious alike, it's only preference is to those who bring the most freedom, peace and love to others. Universalism endorses free will as long as it does not bring harm to others. The only enemy of Universalism is to destroy what nature has created through evolution.

The Unitarians originally attracted white collar people: professionals, educators, cultural leaders, etc. The Universalist congregations were comprised mostly of blue collar working class people such as farmers and fishermen.
By the middle of the 20th century, these distinctions had blurred, making a merger both possible and financially necessary for the survival of the two religions. After several years of discussion and negotiation during the 1950s, the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) was formed in 1961.
They believe in the inherent worth and dignity of every person, respect for the interdependant web of existence, use of the democratic process, justice and equality in human relations,Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations,The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all, and the free and responsible search for truth and meaning. Most Christians in the East and the West believed this, such as Pantaneus, Clement of Alexandria, Origen, St. Gregory of Nyssa, St. Macrina the Younger, Theodore Montepusa, Diodore of Tarsus, and other such figures. It is also believed that St. John Crystostom, St. Ambrose, St. Basil and St. Gregory Nazanieth. Both Augustine and Basil admitt that most Christians believed in Universal Salvation. The belief was deemed heretical because the emperor Justinian demanded a council to condemn the belief as a heresy in the 500's.
4. They believe that by Jesus death and resurrection, that all will eventually come to salvation. They study the bible in its original context and understand the original greek words in their original use, not the church defined use. Contrary to popular belief, Universalism does not in any way give one a free pass to sin, or underestimate Jesus work on the cross. They still believe in punishment, but not that it is endless and is for corrective purposes.
