thargument

A somewhat baseless argument that seems to exist primarily for the sake of arguing. The argument often takes on a life of its own, changing in scope and focus in order to sustain the continuous argument.

Every time those two start talking about literally anything a thargument is going to ensue.

A frivolous argument, sometimes seemingly started just for the sake of arguing. Tharguments often expand in scope and change topic while continuing to be brain numbing and annoying.

Wargument 

wargument (noun)

1. An argument so intense and hostile that it resembles an all-out war.

2. A clash of words marked by aggression, stubbornness, and zero chill.

Example: “Their breakup turned into a wargument that lasted all night.”
