reverse trucker tan 

the opposite of a trucker tan, which is when a person's left arm gets a tan from hanging out of the driver's side window on a long window, therefore becoming tanned.

a reverse trucker tan is the same thing, but occurs when one's right arm becomes tanned, because they are riding in the passenger side and there right arm is out the window.

can also be called "passenger's tan" or "reverse trucker burn"

dude 1: hey man, nice tan...wait, why is one arm way darker than the other?

dude 2: it's a reverse trucker tan, dude. riding with my brother from the city to DC, got dark.

trucker's tan 

A sunburn or suntan focused on the left arm. It is caused by the left side of the body being the only half that gets exposed to sunlight while driving. Presumably, it would be located on the right side of the body in countries where they drive on the left side of the road.

I had a trucker's tan after driving for 10 straight hours on a sunny day.

Trucker's tan 

Trucker's (trucker's) tan is far more commonly used than "trucker's arm". It's used when recognizing that a person's left arm (driver's side arm) is tanner/redder than his right arm.

It's used in the same way a person would be said to have a "farmer's tan" if both his forearms were tan/red up to the point where his (short) shirt-sleeves end on the upper part of the arms.

With the ubiquity of air conditioning in cars today, "trucker's tans" are seen much less frequently. But if noticing a person's left arm is red/tan (but not the right), say, "Hey Joe, you been driving a truck? You got a 'trucker's tan', my friend!"

In the same way, upon noticing the whiteness of a friend's upper arms in contrast to their forearms, you might say, "Hey Joe! You been out farming today? You got a 'farmer's tan', my friend!"

Trucker's tan 

Where a driver has more of a tan on their forearm, according to which arm they put out the window of the vehicle they drive in, which receives more sun than the other one that is inside the car. It was originated from the truck driver as they drive long roads and long hours.

Johnno: I've got a big trucker's tan on my right arm.
