Something that is less than excellent. Not horrible, but not great. Could be better.

I am having a spalsh day.
I could have done that report better, but I spalshed it to get it out on time.

When jewelry or metallic bodily fashion gets so hot and makes contact it zapps tf outa you or feels like hot oil from a fryer splashes onto you.

I got in the sauna and my chain spalshed the hell out of me!
