An acronym that disses or satires the commonly associated acronym. So instead of NBA meaning "national basketball association" it could be "nothing but airheads."

NCAA - Nothing Collegiate About the Athletes
UN - Useless Neutrality
MCAT - Miserable Cramming After Twilight
NHS - Nasty Hoes' Society

TTYC - Too Talkative, You Crackhead
HONDA- History Of No Dramatic Acceleration

All of the big acronyms used in the media can be converted to smacronyms.

Used to describe what the roots of compound words are.
i.e. the macronym of won't is will not.

Antonym: Acronym

Someone uses an acronym you are not familiar with;
"What is the macronym?" Or,
"What is the macronym of _____?"

Acronyms used when talking smack. Typically found in online conversations, but finds its way into face to face conversations as well.

"I wish you'd DIAF Brian"
"STFU, Todd."
