This is when someone (usually an early bird) discriminates against another person due to their sleeping pattern. They don't realise that not everyone can wake up at the ass-crack of dawn.

Person 1: You're so lazy, all you do is sleep all day.
Person 2: I work in the night stop partaking in sleepism.

When you're still kind of asleep but functioning like an awake person anyway. Most likely to happen while lying in bed.

Ian was still sleepish when Lindsay asked him if they could go to Taco Bell for lunch. He deeply regretted saying yes, but blamed it on his own half-consciousness at the time the question was asked.

Sleepist

Someone who thinks that you can just go to sleep, but it's not that easy, they will never understand. They tell you just to go to sleep instead of staying up all night when you tell them your tired. They say it's your fault your tired, but it's not.

Person 1: I couldn't sleep last night
Person 2: Then you should've gotten off your phone and went to sleep.
Person 1: Fuck you it's not that easy stop being sleepist. Stop rubbing your sleep privilege in my face.
