Shimbop is a game played amongst friends, without any designated time to play. If someone says a word or phrase that can have many meanings (double entendre) - another friend may call-out "Shimbop!" when they notice something has been said "with many meanings." The person saying the word or phrase can beat other players by noting they called out a double entendre by saying, "Calling it!" Purposeful words or phrases by a speaker are considered cheating, and whatever is spoken must flow naturally. - The surprise of the double entendre should catch everyone by surprise, even the speaker. Shimbop was created in the mid-90's and is rarely known except by college and high-school student. - Friends can make-up their own winnings and prizes; in colleges across the nation, the prize is typically beer or a free meal. The double entendre can be clean or dirty...
"I don't know why he couldn't come?" - "Calling it!" if speaker or "Shimbop!" if listener
"Walk softly, but carry a big stick." - "Calling it!" if speaker or "Shimbop!" if listener
"Let's eat, grandma!" - "Calling it!" if speaker or "Shimbop!" if listener

Get the shimbop mug.
Aileen thinks she's the "shimbop" because she thinks she invented the word SHIXAT when Mark really did.
