A Schlockbuster is something that is otherwise not a Mockbuster, but rather a schlocky Blockbuster; a film that is still low budget but charming and still very successful.
Asylum films, makers of Schlockbuster films such as Sharknado, has its writers produce full three act screenplays and then only film the third act.
