Was there ever was a more pointless "job" than this new breed of lazy people called "influencers", who get given free stuff, so that they can then post videos, to try to "influence" people into buying the items........
They are the human equivalent of SPAM, or pop-up ads.

An influencer who promotes often shady and scammy projects, this includes MLMs, unknown crypto tokens, projects with false claims or tech jargon that explains nothing and most of the time doesn't even make sense.

This can be done consciously for monetary purposes or just to gain visibility, or unconsciously because of poor technical prowess, lack of research or just human error.

A Scamfluencer can redeem their status by admitting the mistake or coming clean about it all, especially with community and acknowledge that they need to be more careful.
