Pinto and Rufus

Fable about two misfits that has evolved over approximately 400 years, featuring Pinto, the smart one, and Rufus, the dumb one. The plot is simply a mashup of Aristoxenus' "Damon and Pythias", numerous of Aesop's Fables, and various regional familiarities, to give each yarn a local flavor. It has been rumored that the 1994 movie "Dumb and Dumber" was loosely written as a Pinto and Rufus tale.

"When the cops separated us we had to get all Pinto and Rufus to get through it."

"We Pinto and Rufused that frat party"

"You two are 100% Pinto and Rufus."
