The group originaly started in Effingham, Illinois in early 2007. The main theme of the group was to rebel against Strait-Edgers, who were begining to have an influence in the area. RaveEcorE became know after they created a Myspace page. The members of the group all have numbers, the founding members being #1, #13, #XXX (30), #420, and #666.
At one time, all members had earlobes stretched to 5/8. Before becoming members, one must recite the anthem of RaveXcorE, "I'm A Raver" by DJ Rankin. The raves, refered to as "Meetings" usually take place on Friday/Saturday. The offical drink of ravexcore is "The Sunny Driver", a mix of Vodka and Sunny-D. The now infamous, "RaveXcorE Night Of Mischief" took place on April 2, 2007. Video footage of this and other events are said to be lurking on the internet, including the "Terrorist" video. As of now, it seems to be only an Effingham thing, but popularity could be growing.
