A person who aggressively misunderstands the nature of Remembrance Sunday and the role of the poppy in commemorating the dead.

Poppywhoppers shout "Where's your poppy?" at any non-poppy wearers, accessorise oversized poppies on their mobility scooters, white vans and fake Stone Island, and start frothing at the mouth at the mention of James McClean.
Poppywhoppers tend to be small-minded bigots who don't understand that the Second World War was fought against nazis, not for them, and that the freedoms won by defeating fascism include choosing to not wear a symbol that has now been skunked by bigots.

Some Poppywhopper has been flogging 'Reespekt Are Fallen' tshirts on ebay.

Just made it past a bunch of poppywhoppers outside Wetherspoons.

Wasn't sure if they were Free Tommy gammons or just your run of the mill poppy whoppers.
