small thinking, knit picker, attention to tiny details (but not in a good way), term used years ago, focused on small unimportant flaws, picks out all tiny character flaws in others, does not look at the broader picture and consequences, focuses on small incidentals, whiney, onary about each small aspect of just about anything (always in a negative way)

(lets say Sally, kept bringing up old small bothersome things that Joe does -- so we would say Sally, don't be so pickeyune.

Pikeyness - Getting dressed - and then having a wash.
Pikeyness - Sniffing your socks - then deciding to give 'em another bash.
Pikeyness - When your complexion resembles someone who has just finished their bag of chips - and wiped their face with the paper.
Pikeyness - When one or more Pot Noodles is part of your weekly diet.
Pikeyness - When the grease from your hair starts to eminate through your baseball cap - and of course having "hat-hair".
Pikeyness - Shopping at Lidl - 'cos your just a bit too pikey to shop at Aldi.

A girl who has anal sex in order to "preserve her virginity." A picayune virgin often will claim she is a true virgin regardless of how many times she has been anally penetrated.

Picayune 

A town in South Mississippi (40 miles from New Orleans/25 miles from the coast) that is known for its teen pregnancy, teen drug use and high school dropouts. At one time or another it was and may still be the highest rates in the nation. Oxycotin is also widely used here.
Afroman refers to Picayune in one of his songs.
