Parriage (pairage) 

The legal union of two people of the same sex.
Because, of the new law making in legal in several of the United States for people of the same sex to have a legal union, which has never before been accepted. Requires its own term.

ex. Now, that the new law has passed Jim and John will be able to have the parriage (pairage) they have always longed for.
