otherish 

This is the true opposite of selfish. Synonymous with selfless.

A selfless person thinks less about himself. But there is still some "self" in that word we use. The best way to be selfless is to be otherish. That's a more descriptive word for where we really should focus our attention. And it is a positive rather than negative word.

A motive or desire by someone that differs from the typical or expected motive or desire for that person, for whatever reason. This may be because of people's incorrect perceptions of the person's wishes, or may also be a result of the person wishing to do things differently than in the past or than the typical person or the person(s) this individual surrounds themselves with.

I thought he and I might hang out tonight, but apparently he had an otherwish!

Probably the fastest growing new Religion.

When I told my wife's parents I was changing my Religion to Otherism, they just nodded sagely.
