To attempt to hook up with somebody, by talking and/or moving in an 'attractive' way in front of (several) people.
"Why is she wearing a really short skirt and dancing in front of all of the single guys whilst talking in a slow, sexy voice?"
"Shes on the pull."

When a person goes out on a social occasion such as to a bar or club with the intention of having some sort of sexual relation with someone.
"Why is James taking so long? He's been doing his hair for like a hour."

Out on the Pull 

'Pull' in this British sense, basically meaning to french kiss someone. Going 'out on the pull' means going out with the intention of pulling someone.
A: Sarah's out on the pull tonight. Better watch out!
B: Scaaaary...

Phrase used by those arrogantly convinced they are one step ahead of those with their finger on the pulse.
I knew Tiger was headed for a fall months ago... I've got my tongue on the pulse of the golf world.

When you feel an extraordinary sexual desire towards someone (or just feel it and wannt to fulfil it)
