A woman who has not married a man long after common law marriage has decreed them married. A long-term girlfriend. Someone who a man should be married to but isnt.

He has had a nonwife for ten years, he should actually marry her before she slips away.

The act of surfing the Internet until well past your usual bedtime, because your wife is out of town.

My wife is out of town on a business trip. That's a week of nowifesurfing for me:-)
