When someone with superior musical taste converts an inferior to their way of hearing things. Most commonly seen in relationships where the boy has an awful taste in music/is extremely whipped.

(Musician) No, those guys suck. They have no variety in their music and their excuse for a guitarist just plays a few simple power chords throughout their songs. I doubt he could play a single sweep arpeggio if his life depended on it.

(Some teenager) their singer sounds cool, and they have bitchin lyrics.
(Musician)Lyrics are the easiest part of making music, and singers are the most overrated and most replaceable part of any band. The skill and quality lies with the people playing the insturments, and the people writing and arranging the music riffs as a whole, fallout boy fails at both.

Tiktok music taste is whenever somebody gets their entire music taste from tiktok. The only music they listen to is stuff that got popular on tiktok, and whenever its not trendy anymore, they stop listening to it because they're a 13 year old trendhopper.

Music that takes talent to play, is usually polyphonic, or at least has several varying lines and riffs included in it. Key changes and tempo changes are appreciated. Music containing one single droning drumbeat and the same three powerchords over and over is not tasteful.
