A newer word for discrimination or predjudice against people based on their physical appearence and gender exspectations. Lookism discriminates against both "beautiful" and "ugly" people, as it is predjudice against a person for the way they look, positively and negatively.
Also the preconcived notions or stereotypes on a person because of how they look, or their gender.

Lookism
1) A term used in the Incelosphere .It refers to the belief that physical looks is the most,if not the sole,influential factor in how people perceive others during a limited period of social interaction.
For an incel this is true especially in the realm of dating,where many of them point to Lookism as a reason why they are extremely ill-fated in finding a girl.Many arguments has been made to defend Lookism,and a huge part of them point out to human evolutionary behaviour as the reason why lookism exists.
Exempli gratia: Women sees face with broad forehead and high cheekbones(a result of low 4d:2d prenatal androgen tetosterone exposure) as attractive and handsome due to the fact that a man with a higher level of tetosterone is usually better at gathering resources and protecting her than,say,a soyboy.

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead.
