LaWanda
LaWanda is an American name that is a derivation of the name Wanda. LaWanda means the little wanderer or the one who wanders. I can not even express how amazing this guy is. If you're lucky enough to have one of your own, congrats!~ He is honest, kind, sometimes can do things that you really don't like, but always makes it up to you in the end. He may not say he loves you, but he shows it. He'll give you gifts, smile and greet you every time he sees you, and makes you feel amazing. The way he laughs, the way he talks, the way he smiles. It's like he only sees you when you're talking to him. It makes the world a better place when he's in it.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
