kloveyoubye

"kloveyoubye" is/has been a phrase used by many over phone calls. It is usually uttered as it is written and spoken in the span of about 3/4 of a second. It can be spoken to a close friend, a family member, or even a total stranger if you're not thinking straight.

The phrase typically suggests that one is in a rush, but it may be a result of some other causes:

A: You are in a genuine rush and need to get to the more important task at hand.

B: You know for a fact you have nothing better to do, but you say it at the end just to piss off your friend/loved one.

C: Saying this phrase is simply impulsive in your mind and you will say it to anyone at any time, even if it's in-person. This scenario even accounts for the aforementioned ones.

D: You never use this phrase towards friends or family, but SPECIFICALLY strangers. An odd one, as you wonder whether or not a stranger wants to be farewelled in such a manner.

I would hope that scenarios C and D haven't, don't, and do not EVER fall upon any readers here.

Pronunciation: K-LUV-YOO-BAI

C: John: "Kloveyoubye."
James: "What?"
John: "Oh sorry, it's a habit."
(They are staring right at each other)

D: Doctor: "Alright, you're good to go. Be sure to stay hydrated and get rested well, and you'll be back on your feet it no time."

Shackteâu

A Shackteau is a humble, weather-beaten, structurally questionable shelter located in a spectacular or highly coveted place—Wales, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, Crested Butte, coastal Maine, the Alps—where the building itself may be worth almost nothing, but the dirt, view, access, and mythology make it absurdly valuable.
