(exrtoverted people gain their energy from the people around them)Whereas shyness is a form of anxiety. It's when you worry about what people will think, say or do about you if you do something. It's a symptom caused by many many factors, while Introversion is JUST YOU.

I'm a very introverted person. Though I tend to be charismatic, and people gather around me. I'm very lonely, and tend to only enjoy being with myself, and learning about myself. I have to think a lot because my brain uses its frontal lobe, and stores things in my long term memory bank. AS you know I'm American, and I live in a very extroverted society. Where fast talk, and acting on impulse is valued more than careful planning, and meaniful thinking.
