The first type of light bulb that Thomas Edison came up with, i.e., the hundreds of experiments that failed. Although Edison didn't consider these unsuccessful attempts "failures"... when someone asked him why he kept trying to invent a light bulb when he had failed so many times, Edison calmly replied, "I have not failed 1,000 times. I have successfully discovered 1,000 ways to NOT make a light bulb."

It is indeed interesting to see Thomas Edison's finished light bulb, but I would be curious to see what some of his incantdescent-bulb creations looked like, as well.

A person who is easily spotted as thoughtless asshole by making a stupid and unreasonable comment to others. A harsher comment to another person than incandescent idiot.

While making an unreasonable comment to a group of girls, Cedric claims to have a cure for cancer, seems like an Incandescent asshole.

A word used to define any old-fashioned, in-efficient thing to do or way of doing things. Named for the way incandescent light bulbs were replaced by much better fluorescent one.

Refers to da type of lighting used for sneaky/undercover work, like spying, jacking for game, etc.

Hunting deer at night obliges da use of super-bright lights, so said illumination is not exactly inclandescent --- if you and da deer can see your lights, so can a game-warden!
