Shorthand for the Filipino language Ilocano, which is one of several languages spoken in the Philippines.

Ilocano (Pagsasao nga Ilokano) is the third most-spoken native language of the Philippines. An Austronesian language, it is related to such languages as Malay (Indonesian and Malaysian), Tetum, Chamorro, Fijian, Maori, Hawaiian, Samoan, Tahitian, Paiwan and Malagasy. The Ilokanos or Iloko people are the third largest Filipino ethnolinguistic group that mostly reside within the Ilocos Region in the northwestern seaboard of Luzon, Philippines. Most Ilokanos speak the Ilokano language, which has 40 dialects.

A language that derived and is in use with Filipinos that live in the North Luzon areas of the Philippines - Zambales, Ilocos Norte/Sur, La Union, Olongapo City, etc. Also used to classify the people who live in these areas as "ilocanos".

In addition, Many Ilocanos are known to be very thrifty and cheap, with the exception of Fmr Philippine President Marcos who was also Ilocano.

In a tabletop game, a murderhobo is a player who murders NPCs indiscriminately. This is normally derogatory, referring to a player who totally ignores quests, dialog, backstory, trade, world building etc.

The term is most common with Dungeons and Dragons, but it can be applied to most RPGs where the player is allowed to kill most quest-giving NPCs and NPC traders. E.g. Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Divinity original sin.

DM: The sad little orphan girl tugs at Steve's trenchcoat to get his attention, and ask for help saving her pet dog from...
Steve: I'd like to roll a strength check against strangling the orphan.
Dave: I call dibs on the dog.
DM: You murderhobos disgust me.
