Acronym for "It's Gonna Be Awhile." Used to describe a situation, usually undesirable, that is likely to continue for an extended period of time. Can be said as a response to an inquiry or as negative commentary.
As a response:
"Hey Greg, how much time do you have before you get off work and we can go grab a drink?"
"Igba."
"Dammit. Well, you can give a call when you're off. I'll be getting shnockered over at TGI Friday's."
As commentary:
"Hold on guys, those chicken fajitas aren't sitting so well with me right now. Let me run to the bathroom before we leave."
(Friends, in unison): "Igba."
