A house party that features one or more bands or Disc Jockeys, often local artists, as an underground, non-corporate, usually free or cheap cover event.

A place where people ride around on thousand pound animals and people watch them and give them ribbons, unless they suck.

horse piss shower 

Taking a shower where the water temperature is luke warm or tepid. Caused by heavy demand of water heater's supply of hot water through heavy hot water use--other people taking showers or baths, laundry or dishwasher, etc. The temperature of the water is far from invigorating or comfortable. The water is barely warm, just like horse piss.

Hal: Are you expecting alot of company for Thanksgiving vacation?

Frank: Yes, my son, his college roommate, my in-laws, aunt, uncle and cousins will all be at my house. I'll have to make sure I'm the first one in the shower, otherwise I'll have to take a horse piss shower.

Showing the horse and cart 

To show one's age. When an older person makes a comment or action that refers back to times long since past and shows just how old they are, generally alienating the younger generation a bit in the process.

My grandfather made a reference to Howdy Doody today. Man, was he showing the horse and cart.
