hollywooditis

The uncontollable urge to leave everything behind be it your family, your home, your history with an area and to move to Los Angeles to try to become a movie star or to be involved in the entertainment industry. Similar to "having stars in your eyes"
LeBron James has acquired a bad case of Hollywooditis because the LA Laker team he went to actually really sucks and has no chance of winning anythin; and all he really wants to do by going there is to schmooze and share the aroma of his asscrack with the celebrities out there who also will want to smell his asscrack; and to try to become some kind of movie mogul, even though most of the entertainment he has produced has sucked pretty badly as well.

hollywoodification

1.) the process any event or story goes through when being turned into a movie in Hollywood.

2.) the process any actor or actress goes through when they sell out to Hollywood
person 1: Dude, I totally bombed that test about Beowulf today.

person 2: Did you actually read the book?

person 2: No, but I watched the movie version of it.

person 2: Well, then of course you failed. The epic poem went through hollywoodification when it got turned into a movie.

To take something small, that doesn't quite qualify as a theft. Probably from the Danish "skæv" or the Dutch "scheef", both of which are pronounced similarly, meaning "askew, or not quite right'. To change an item's ownership without permission, but only something small and of little worth.
"I skeefed an apple off the neighbor's tree." "I skeefed some chips outta your bag when you looked away." "Don't skeef my chair when I go to the bathroom."

Hair spider

A tight, tangled knot of loose hair and lint that forms inside clothing during the clothes dryer cycle. It typically hides inside garments, causing an annoying lump or a phantom tickling sensation against the skin until it is found or falls out onto the floor during folding.
I was folding my clothes and a huge hair spider fell out onto my hand

n. A screenshot fabricated by a company to misrepresent the graphics of a game; a combination of the words bullshit and screenshot.

Originated from Penny Arcade, a popular gaming webcomic.
-Have you seen Madden 2006 for the Xbox 360? The graphics are gonna be awesome!
-Dude, the Madden 2006 images they showed at E3 were bullshots. It doesn't look nearly as good as they said.
