simply breaks downta "yo bud." it's Coal Speak, coming from the Coal Region of Pennsylvania. it's usually said pretty loud, with emphasis on the 'butt.'

A term used for individuals from the coal region of Pennsylvania, notably Northumberland and Schuylkill counties. It comes from the local dialect where "Hey Bud" sounds like "Ho Butt." Ho Butts are known for having a love of off roading and heavy drinking.
