High School Relationships

A relationship during high school where you're with someone for more than a YEAR OF SCHOOL. Summer doesn't count.

Maturity levels are higher and expected to be higher.
Going to the playground is NOT a date... Puh-lease kiddies... Grow up!

High School relationships are so much more then going to the park or the school playground.

highschool relationship

The inability to be apart from your significant other for more than two seconds. Usually involves hordes of sex that the two engaged in the relationship will later find out was absolutely horrible, but at the time they though that's just how it was supposed to be. Both people usually become annoying to their friends and fight about ridiculous things. Topped off, normally, by a pregnancy scare.
Teddy: Hey man, wanna go to the football game?
Jason: Nah, I have to go sit in a room with my girlfriend and have a lot of sex that will be over in one to two minutes, ya know.... because we're in a highschool relationship.
Teddy: I don't like you anymore man, you're a loser.
Jason: But I love her.

(Jason and his girlfriend will break up after two days of being apart, because it's "too hard." Really, they just want to bang someone else.)

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.

Pee Calculus

When you have to pee in a movie but don’t want to miss anything, and must do the following mental equation: will the amount I have to pee cause enough discomfort to diminish my attention capacity for the remainder of the movie to an extent which is greater than the amount of the movie I would miss by making a mad dash to the restroom.
I saw Satantango last night, wonderful film but by the 5th hour I had to start doing pee calculus.
