Hyland: A name synonymous with mid lands Ireland. Its meaning is from the old Celtic word for
confidence. Hylands are known for their confidence to the degree that it makes them repulsive and intolerable. Their traditional
short stature does not deter them however once they are on the hunt for a
mate. While on the prowl a Hyland will always have an entire arsenal of moves and smooth lines to woo his prey. Non more famous than the "ciansman" (see ciansman)
