Happy Tree Friend

An adorable little woodland creature that often dies in horrible, bloody, and often unimaginable freak accidents.
The common sound of a Happy Tree Friend: Wheeeeeeeeee!! Ahhahaha! Wheeeeeee--Ackk! Umph! Ohh!! <whimper> <whimper>... Huh? Waaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!! Ack--gahhhhh...<expires>

happy tree day

When you are talking to someone and they don't happen to hear you or are spacing out, you say this phrase. It implies that they are like a tree and are impervious to their surroundings. Then, hopefully, they'll hear it and start paying attention.

I don't know if this phrase is used in English but I know it is used in Spanish. My Colombian friend used this when I didn't know she was talking to me. However, she said it in Spanish: "Feliz Dia del Arbol"
Person A: blahblahblah
Person B: *spacing out*
Person A: Happy tree day!

Happy Tree Friend

The Happy Tree Friend (Arbore amicus) generally looks like a small, anthropomorphic woodland animal with a heart-shaped nose, big eyes with pupils shaped like a pizza with a slice taken out of it/Pac-Man shape, a big mouth with buck teeth, what seemingly appears to be a line connecting the nose and the mouth, and hands that seem to switch between two forms: four-fingered hands and mitten-like hands. Of course, there are exceptions to this, for example Muta alces, which appears to be a blue, tall moose with regular-looking pupils, no nose-line, nostrils, among other things. The weird thing about the Tree Friends is that they always reappear unscathed when they die. How they do this has not been researched yet. There are many species of Tree Friends, such as Occidendum ursi, a green bear in a soldier outfit. Occidendum ursi flips out when it is reminded of war or death in any way. Normally, Occidendum ursi is friendly, but when "flipped out", seems to be an apex predator that kills anything it sees. This is the most well-known Tree Friend, and thusly when a flipped out Occidendum ursi is detected within the area of a community, the community is ordered to lock down everything.
Researcher 1: You see that Happy Tree Friend right there?
Researcher 2: Must be an Occidendum ursi.
Researcher 2: Gotta be careful, anything that is able to cause a Vietnam War veteran can trigger him.
Researcher 1: Didn't you just say "war" out loud? He could have heard you!
(The Occidendum ursi latches onto Researcher 2, pulling out a knife. Video feed cut short.)
{Seen below: An animated .gif file showcasing the "flipping out" mechanic of the Occidendum ursi, the Occidendum ursi getting ready to murder a Purpura castorea with a cake cutter.}

Happy Tree Friend

the Happy Tree Friend, also known as "Amicus venerandum", is a North American species of the Mammalia class. A tree friend usually appears as an adorable woodland creature, with different species forms ranging from rabbits to squirrels to chipmunks. They have boot feet, buck-teeth, heart noses, and Pac-Man eyes. All of them have thin lines located on their philtrum, between the nose and mouth. According to MrRockGuy who gave a definition to this in June 2004, they die in horribly violent accidents and situations, and this is actually true too sometimes! However, mostly when they get hurt, they will make noises ranging from screams to whimpers, and depict injuries as well. Mostly, there is no blood in the injuries, but some bleeding, to make sure it's appropriate for children. These animals behave mostly like children, seeking people to play with. Even though they can get bored too, they are also kept as pets according to Statistics Canada. Some of them have cheeks too; a few of them have freckles, gapped teeth, and antlers if they're a moose. They can sing, speak clear English and gibberish, and dance.

According to Animal Planet, they are usually found in cities and towns, even in rural places. As well as that, they can even be found in America too! If a tree friend appears as an anteater, the animal has NO BUCKTEETH OR NOSE, just a trunk.
some british boi narrator named michael rosen: hey guys watching the telly, this is bbc planet earth. today we be taking a look at, well, can't see ems?
a tree friend: Wheeeee! *laughing* Wahoo! Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Me: AAAGH!! A TREE FRIEND!! Y'ALL NOT SURVIVE!! MUST YEET!!
*yeets the tree friend and pulls out his meaty striped venison in order to use him as food*
the narrator: oh, its called a happy tree friend. well, we're in a forest in London, England. A seething predator, homo sapiens, is violently gaming the animal. I've just found the animal to actually be Cuddles the rabbit.
*after*
narrator: we see a family in London eating this tree friend. it's complete with spices and pepper as well as other seasonings.

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
