Like any form of kata it is a type of hand-to-hand combat. In this case, its a fictional fighting form from the movie Equilibrium. According to the movie gunkata is based on scientific analysis of bullet trajectory and range which can accurately gauge the possible mathematical outcomes of a gunfight. In short, it teaches its practitioners how to kickass using only firearms at any distance.
(Quoted from Equilibrium)
DuPont: "The gunkatas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gunkata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gunkatas an adversary not to be taken lightly."

Gun Kata

A fictional martial art developed for the 2002 film "Equilibrium" starring Christian Bale.

Supposedly developed by analysis of thousands of gunfights, which apparently developed into the idea that it is statistically possibile to determine where any individual is located and where all shots will be delivered from in any particular gunfight.

General practicioners of this martial art are "Grammaton Clerics" in the film "Equilibrium," who are drilled in the "katas" (routines practiced and memorized by rote) in order to use their firearms as an extension of the self.

While visually appealing, Gun Kata has very little real world application as it discounts enemies that attack from the prone position or from ranged attackers (such as snipers).
The Grammaton Cleric used his Gun Kata to weave his dance of death in the enclosed room. However, the sniper on the roof across the street made an excellent headshot when the Cleric decided to sillouhette himself in the light of the open door.

Gun Kata

A fictitious martial arts system invented for the 2002 movie 'Equilibrium', by Kurt Wimmer and starring Christian Bale and Taye Diggs. The gun kata, like all martial arts katas, is a rote-learned sequence of moves and positions which in this case supposedly enabled the gun-wielding fighter to dispatch multiple opponents very quickly using moves based on the statistical distribution of opponents in previous recorded gunfights.

The gun kata made for some very effective and well-choreographed fight scenes in the movie, bringing hand-to-hand style to ranged-weapon combat. However, a fighter attempting to employ such a system in real life would be unlikely to survive very long.

A new term used on the urban streets of Canada, United States and Mexico. It describes a person to be "fake", especially around police authorities.

A) A person of both genders who cries to get their way but acts like a gangster and demonstrates self-delusion. Often from youth males who claim they are part African American and adopt the modern culture such as Rap, Hip-Hop and various "From the streets" attitudes when it is clear they have never lived life on the streets.

B) A self-proclaimed "Rapper" who raps tough, acts tough and talks tough. When it comes time to be interviewed by the police while being involved in minor disputes he will force himself to cry and make it seem like he is the victim. Therefore, He assumes that he has clean criminal record.
A. "That gunktah can't say hes from the streets, cause he was born and raised by gravel roads in isolated communities!"

B. "That piece of shit rapper ain't shit, he's just a damn gunktah! If I ever met that guy I'd knock him a new hole to rap out of."

a militant combat style that teaches efficiency in the use of gun tactics.

Developed through analysis of thousands of recorded gun fights, it was determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element.

A hardcore gamer whos sweat has fused them into their gamer chair (throne).

The gamer chair (throne) will eventually take over the gamers body and form a cocoon.

Soon after, the victim will lose control of their body and senses and be taken over by gunk (sweat, chip dust, grease, dry ejaculate, etc). The gunk will form a mech-like suit and inevitably take over the world.
