gumpot

The remains of chewed gum thrown by people onto the floor (indoor or out) to which over a period of time, said remains of gum resembles a black pot hole, but without the hole. There currently exists specialized tools to remove gumpots, usually consisting of a long pole and a gillette type blade on the end to scrape them off the floor. However, gumpots are ubiquitous AND perpetual, around the world due to humans fixation and habits relating to chewing gum.
The train platform was littered with gumpots due to commuters discarding their chewing gum on the floor.
