A mythical creature of epic proportions, typically used to describe anything so ridiculously massive, powerful, or intense that it could only exist in an alternate universe or a fever dream. It’s bigger, bolder, and more absurd than anything that came before it.
“That concert was basically a Gigantamasaurus event — lights, lasers, and bass that shook the earth.”
Gigantasaurus is used to describe humongous dinosaurs, but can be used for other humongous things not involving dinosaurs. Gigantasaurus is often confused with "Ginemenasaurus".
"Wow, That dinosaurskeleton is totally gigantasaurus!" "Gosh, this orange is so gigantasaurus..!"
Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue?
