seizure-and-forfeiture

A law in the United States, since 1984; law enforcement authorities are allowed to confiscate cash money they have reason to believe has not been legitimately obtained, and even if no charges are filed against the person whose cash is confiscated the owner must go to court to prove legitimate ownership of the confiscated cash; also known as legal robbery, this confiscated cash often goes towards funding helicopters for rural sheriff's departments and assault vehicles for Podunk towns that have no real use for them
Why are you taking my money, officer ... I was saving up to buy a motorboat with it .... What do you mean, I seem suspicious? What the fuck is seizure-and-forfeiture?

civil asset forfeiture

a system by which American authorities can legally seize your property if they suspect that it was used to make or sell drugs, or bought with drug money.
They don't have to prove anything, or have a warrant. They only need probable cause, which can be given by a drug dog scam. You may or not be charged with a crime, and you might never get your stuff back.
Ethel Hylton: "Why are you taking my money?"

Cop: "Civil Asset Forfeiture, ma'am. (Google it.) The dog smells drugs on your cash, so we're taking it all."

Ethel Hylton: "But I've never even touched any drugs."

Cop: "No, but your money has."

Ethel Hylton: "I'm innocent! I've done nothing wrong"

Cop: Relax, nobody's accusing you of anything. We're just taking your money. Forever."

Ethel Hylton: "wha...?"

pick-up forfeiture

In any pick up game, when you lose an item of gameplay because of your stupidity, anger, craziness, etc. you forfeit the game automatically.
Basil kicked the soccer ball into an unretrievable area that was locked off, so he lost the game because of pick-up forfeiture.

Property Forfeiture

The controversial and indirect act of surrendering rights, resources, and possesions(including children) to another person, group, or authority due to abuse, neglect, and overall stupidity on the part of the original owner(s). Necessitated by progress or changing local, national, and international advances in civilization and morals. Typically very beneficial in the long term to most of society.
Mark: Hey, why are you taking away my children!!!!
Officer: Your meth lab was endangering their lives.
Mark: I'm American, I have rights. This is fascism!
Officer: No, it's Property Forfeiture.
Mark: Can I keep my meth lab equipment?
Officer: No.
Mark: This is communism!
Officer: Get in the car.

forfetture

A mandatory "handing over of da goods" --- i.e., hostages, weapons, treasure, etc. --- dat da evil "bounty-hunter Boba" would be forced to make when confronted by ray-blaster-wielding members of the Rebel Alliance who had come to relieve said helmeted villain of his ill-gotten valuables.
As fiercely proud and arrogant as The Great Galactic Fortune-seeker is portrayed as, I imagine he'd totally exhibit a "they'll never take me alive" attitude before he'd even consider making any forfettures to the Rebel Alliance.

forgeitude

FORGEITUDE comes two root words, as in

“Forging” & “Attitude”

Marty Raney coined this new word & definition, even though I was the one who submitted it, Marty deserves all the credit.
With today’s challenges, society & social barriers, we’re all going to need to be “FORGING” ahead, as well, constantly digging deep, with always having the right, can do “ATTITUDE,” if we’re all going to make it! Were all going to need lots of FORGEITUDE!!!
