The channel/television show you flip to when the one you want to watch is on a commercial break. You've probably seen the flip show before or you enjoy the show but don't necessarily care what happens.

Person 1: "Ah, come on. You're watching this?"
Person 2: "No no no, this is just my flip show."

A flipshow is a person who tends to flip out frequently - overreacting to the smallest thing.

Did you hear that Shaniqua attacked Justin after he told her that he wasn't a fan of the work of Nelly? What a flipshow!
