eclogue

A form of poetry. It typically consists of a dialogue between two or more characters, often shepherds or rural inhabitants, discussing pastoral themes and topics.
One of the most well-known examples of eclogues is "Eclogues" by the ancient Roman poet Virgil. In this work, Virgil presents a series of ten eclogues that blend themes of nature, politics, and personal emotions.
