Describes less-than-ideal interactions/relationships among two or more people due to incompatibilities in tastes/preferences regarding alternative-pop music.

I prefer classical and easy-listening music, but that doesn't mean I have a dysfunktional relationship with other folks just because they happen to like weird-sounding crazy-beat tunes.
