Slang for details. To be used when asking for "the details" seems presumptuous and too much like something your mother would ask.
When used with a "z" at the end instead of an "s" (see deets) it undoubtedly makes you more scene, street, or what have you.

A Dertz is a singular or plural noun (a group of Dertz, a Dertz, the Dertz) meaning someone who interjects into a subject that is irrelevant to themselves.

Scenario One: Off-Duty Dertz

Boss: Hey can someone help me with this?
The Dertz: I would but I am on my break and I am about to go outside.
Boss: Why the hell did you even come over here then? If you aren’t working it obviously doesn’t pertain to you.
