The act of using your tongue to stop the crumbs from falling from a cookie after biting into it.

These cookies are a crumbling everywhere when I bite into them. I know, I will use cookielingus to catch the crumbs before they make a mess.

After my sweetie made chocolate chip cookies, she gave me the beaters and spatula and I performed cookielingus on them.
