Being against the act of standing. This word is entirely made up, but it comes from the latin root “Contra” which means against, and “statious” Standing.

The moment when an enlisted member of the military no longer wishes to be in the military, but is compelled to serve out the remainder of their contract. This usually occurs about midway through a four year enlistment.
