compartmentalize

Someone who can "divide" his or her's emotions from other thoughts, even from the important.

Words you can keep

compartmentalised traffic window

Rush hour - this term is frequently used by members of FVS to describe rush hour traffic.
In order to implement a comprehensive traffic management programme, you must first assess the compartmentalised traffic windows.

Compartmentalised Traffic Window

A highly innovative method of traffic calming first initiated by Colin Minton of Ford Village Society. It's primary aims are probably really good but I can't actually remember what they are at present.
Police: "Oh cheers Colin, another great presentation on the Compartmentalised Traffic Window".

Colin: "Cheers Mr. Policeman"

compartmentalization

To put certain persons into mental "compartments" based on race, sexual orientation, religion, ect.
compartmentalization is bad

Comportmentalize

To mentally find and use ideas that comport to narratives that support one's belief system in order to ease the discomfort of cognitive dissonance when competing ideas are in conflict with each other.
Person 1: "Wow! I'm mentally conflicted here! These competing ideas really are in conflict with each other and I don't know which one to support."

Person 2: "Well, rather than compartmentalize those thoughts, why don't you comportmentalize them and find a narrative that comports with your belief system? That might help with your cognitive dissonance."

Compartmentalised

Occlusive self worldliness of world views.
Object impermanence except with worldbuild facets and gnosis of partitioned andor nonpartitioned realities aspects.
To be metaphorically blindfolded against what you know andor have known of your wholistic perspective.
Oh it's a plane!
But The Pentagon admitted UFOs and UAPs exist
Oh so it might be a UFO... what else is purported to exist?
What have you known before but couldn't believe even if knowing which makes worldliness compartmentalisation and worldview compartmentalised? What are some ramifications?

Some say that Deep Underground Installations even jeep their staff on a need to know basis even with holistic projects rather than Full Access so that leads to a compartmentalisation cultural dissonance even if hyper intelligent

Combarfmentalize

When you have to puke but you’re suppressing it
“Ooof, I’m trying so hard to combarfmentalize right now, I really shouldn’t have tried that crab dip at the quickie-mart”

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
Some grebo passed with Sabbath playing on his stereo.
The Poppies are at no. 17? God, a grebo band in the charts!
They're playing nu-metal now, bloody grebos!
