Verb. A phenomenon that occurs when a housecat decides to sit on or next to a human being, thus immobilizing them out of reluctance to move the soft warm animal from their person.

catloaf 

A Catloaf is when a cat sits in the shape of a loaf of bread. More specifically, laying with all four paws tucked under the body. The cat can either be sitting alone, or in a rectangular shaped box, like a shoebox. The cat may also have one paw sticking out, known commonly as the pop-thermometer, or also known as Catloaf on a stick. The Catloaf is not to be mistaken for a monorail, which is similar, except that the cat's head would be laying down, chin on floor.

CatLap 

The condition in which your (or someone else's) cat settles into your lap, and you can no longer move. It's a serious condition, resulting in being unable to go to the washroom or get your own beverages until the condition is resolved (the cat gets up and moves).

I currently have CatLap, and haven't been able to do anything for hours. Maybe she'll move soon? Send coffee.
