Brainsplaining

A form of Digitalsplaining where the perpetrator uses brain-related insults to dismiss, belittle, and gaslight the target—telling them they “don’t have a brain,” calling them “dumb,” “retarded,” or suggesting they “dropped their brain.” The splainer positions themselves as the sole possessor of intelligence, framing any disagreement as evidence of the target’s cognitive deficiency. Brainsplaining often escalates: starting with condescending explanations of basic concepts, moving to direct insults when challenged, and culminating in claims that the target is simply incapable of understanding. Unlike ordinary insults, brainsplaining is systematic—it’s not just name-calling but a sustained effort to undermine the target’s confidence in their own reasoning, making them doubt whether they are thinking clearly at all.

Example: “When she questioned his claim, he replied with ‘people with a brain exist and we force you to cope.’ Every response was framed as her lacking basic intelligence. Brainsplaining: using cognitive superiority as a weapon.”

Briesplaining 

The act of SJWs trying to worm their way out of negative consequences for their blatant racism/sexism. Most notably the briesplainer will always avoid any kind of apology, will avoid any admittance of wrongdoing, and will never take responsibility for their words/actions. Another common trait of briesplaining is an attempt to blame and shift negative attention onto the target of the original prejudicial/discriminatory actions.

Named for the desperate backpedalling by Brie Larson and her fellow SJW supporters in defence of her campaign of racism and misandry in the weeks preceding Captain Marvel's release.

Bob: Did you see Brie Larson's latest interview?
Dave: Yeah, it was pathetic, she's constantly just briesplaining rather than admitting she was wrong.

Brownsplaining 

Any South Asian trying to explain to another South Asian a fundamental term/concept which they already know, but Person #1 mistakenly assumes that they aren't aware of.

This FOB totally tried Brownsplaining me what a Rasgulla is, assuming I'm not Desi because of my name after I posted a picture on Twitter of what I'd served a friend for dessert. He actually said, "That's not rosgulla for sure. Rosagullas are white little balls dripped in sugar syrup" like I had no idea what they were.

Britsplaining 

A post-colonialist mindset which makes British people mistake the global spread of their language as the global acceptance of their lifestyle.

It is a consequence of ethnocentrism: (evaluation of other cultures according to preconceptions originating in the standards and customs of one's own culture).
Example: in an international working environment, during a meeting, British native speakers explain “how things work” to colleagues from other countries.

British native management person: “You should rather have answered I AM NOT SURE to our client instead of Saying no”.

Colleague: “Thank you so much for the britsplaining. The client is French and I am Turkish and we perfectly understand each other”.

Bronsplaining, also known as lebronsplaining. When you make up excuses for Lebron James losing or why you think he's the GOAT (greatest of all time).

You: Lebron hasn't bening playing defense this year.

Friend: Bro...he cant do everything. Hes allowed to take a rest.

You: Stop bronsplaining. That's a terrible excuse.

The explanation of something by Bernard Drainville, typically to a woman, in a manner regarded as condescending or patronizing.

To see 59-year-old Bernard Drainville drainsplaining her deputy premier colleague in 2022, made me more feminist than ever.
