boyfrhand

A combination of the words "boyfriend" and "hand" - A social media (instagram) phenomenon where someone (usually a girl) continuously posts first-person photos of her legs/lap, her food while dining, her bed comforter, or other inanimate objects, always featuring a mysterious, unidentified hand, usually seated with her, on her thigh, or somewhere peripherally; outside of the subject of the photo. No one knows who the hand belongs to, because the person it belongs to is never tagged in the photo. Ever.

The hand, may possibly be her boyfrhand. Perhaps a relationship at the wishes to remain anonymous?

A "Did you see Selena went to our fave diner yesterday!?"
B "Of course I did, and her boyfrhand was in every picture....."
A "Her what?"
A "Wait who's hand is that...?"

2. A less respectable form of "Boyfriend"
3. A legal term commonly found in small claims / divorce courts.

Essentially the same as "boyfriend" but enhanced by the colorful Cajun accent.

Typical Cajun grandmother to her grandchild: "Aw mais, beb, you gotchaself a lil boifrann?!?"

Boyfriance

What a girl calls her unofficial boyfriend. It is derived from comparing the situation to an engagement, which is much like an unofficial marriage. In this case, the two people are not officially boyfriend/girlfriend, but they both know they will be in the near future, much like how the fiance and fiancee know they will soon become husband/wife.

My boyfriance is taking me out on our first date next month.
